MINI Series VI: Monday Evening for 5 weeks: CONFLUENCE OF OSTEOPATHY & O.N.E. YOGA

SPECIAL MINI Series: Monday Evening for 6  weeks. Despite the common experience of perceiving our human bodies as consisting of dense particulate matter: bones, muscles, connective tissue and organs, our bodies are actually predominantly a fluidic reality. It’s all a question of atunement to the multiple levels of this embodied human being-ness! This course is an introduction to O.N.E. Yoga with Dr. Yusuf Quddus Erskine. It is my desire to share this integrated experience of Osteopathy and Yoga with practitioners of these two vocations. O.N.E. YOGA stands for Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Exercise. via Yoga. I started my journey on the hatha yoga path in 1972 and was certified as a yoga teacher a couple of years later at the Sivananda Ashram. In 1985, I started my dive into Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine with Dr. Frymann as my first teacher.  She often stated that Cranial-Sacral Work was an extension of osteopathy not the head separated from the rest of the body. Similarly, Yoga is not to be limited to an alternative exercise program. O.N.E. YOGA  is a pathway for cultivating Presence and optimal health for full embodiment while living the human being experience!
